A Disney Morning: Wish Preview
This morning I headed to the Wish Footage Presentation, where Disney presented exclusive content from the all-new original feature film, WISH. WISH will be released in cinemas on November 22nd and stars Ariana DeBose as the voice of Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Valentino the pajama-wearing goat. The epic animated musical “Wish,” follows Asha and a little ball of boundless energy called Star prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.
Review: The Little Mermaid (Film)
“Wish I could beeeeeeee part of that worldddddd” #TheLittleMermaid is a live-action remake of the 1998 animated classic we all know and love, directed by Rob Marshall. I had the pleasure of watching the highly anticipated fantasy musical at the Family Event screening Disney held yesterday morning.

BIB Review: Rye Lane ★★★★★ Love is what? Love is sweet O especially in South East London. Rye Lane follows two youngsters Yaz and Dom, played by Vivian Oparah and David Jonsson, reeling from bad breakups who connect over an eventful day in South-London.

BIB Review: August in England by Lenny Henry ★★★★★ Written and performed by Lenny Henry in his playwriting debut, August in England explores a life impacted by the Windrush scandal.
Review: Richard III by Adjoa Andoh (Theatre)
BIB Review: Richard III by Adjoa Andoh. ★★★★☆
Theatrical, family feud, vengeance with dark / light humour. A slow burner but definitely worth the watch! A nice twist tale of Shakespeares play.
Richard III is on at the Rose theatre until 13 May.

BIB Reviews: On The Ropes By Vernon Vanriel and Dougie Blaxland (Theatre)
On The Ropes is an uplifting musical autobiographical drama that tells the life story of Vernon Vanriel, a Black Britsh boxer, who arrived in the UK aged 6 with his family as part of the Windrush Generation and got caught up in the Windrush scandal. It’s a powerful piece written by playwright Dougie Blaxland in collaboration with the real Vernon Vanriel.
