A Disney Morning: Wish Preview

This morning I headed to the Wish Footage Presentation, where Disney presented exclusive content from the all-new original feature film, WISH. WISH will be released in cinemas on November 22nd and stars Ariana DeBose as the voice of Asha, Chris Pine as Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk as Valentino the pajama-wearing goat. The epic animated musical “Wish,” follows Asha and a little ball of boundless energy called Star prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.  

Here is our no-spoiler reaction: Wish. A beautiful nod to Disney's legacies, familiar energies sprinkled around while also creating its own legacy.; it feels timeless. The soundtrack is already a stand out from the one song I’ve heard so far, an incredible amount of personality from all of the voices even with just one line. There’s a comedic and honest take that I love, a new editing style I’m excited to see. Pigging off that, I already have a favorite character which is a goat.. yes a goat. Disney pride itself to be welcome and make unheard voices seen, they do that here! Interested to see/hear the disability representation on and off the screen in Wish. It was a privilege to be one of the first to see the clips and progress of the animation coming to life. Looking forward to the long run in the cinema, because this is a wish I've been looking for, cinema is back. The magic Disney creates never fails - Wish will be amazing.
