The Sun Does Shine is a powerful new musical work by Harvey Brough, with words by Justin Butcher, inspired by the autobiography Hinton wrote about his long fight to prove his innocence.

NT Connections Festival: WIND/RUSH GENERATION(S)

This is a play about the British Isles, its past and its present. Set in a senior common room, in a prominent university, a group of 1st year undergraduates are troubled, not by the weight of their workload, but by a ‘noisy’ ghost.

Samuel Takes A Break.... by Rhianna Ilube

Directed by Anthony Simpson-Pike, The Yard Theatre’s Deputy Artistic Director, Samuel Takes a Break is a journey through colonialism’s impact on British identity. Set in Ghana’s Year of Return in 2019, this genre-blending story follows Samuel, a tour guide, and Orange, a ticket officer, at Cape Coast Castle.
